Attendance Policy

I don’t usually reschedule lessons, unless you let me know in advance.  I do count lessons my students miss and last-minute cancellations, because they take up scheduled time.  If I have to miss for whatever reason, I will be glad to reschedule those lessons or simply not count them.

One of the advantages of paying for a 12, 18, 36, or 40 lesson plan is that it leaves room for canceling when necessary, but not excessively.  This allows for continuity in your learning.

Payments

You can pay either by check or cash at the first lesson of the month.  I do charge a $25 late fee when you do not pay on time.  Any materials provided for lessons will be charged separately, as well as fees for participating in local events.  Please note that the monthly payments remain the same, regardless of the number of lessons you take each month.

Quality and Professionalism

Some things I can assure you of are:

-You will get professional teaching, aimed at what you need and want to learn.

-I will use time efficiently during lessons, and I will be prepared at each lesson with the appropriate materials and goals.

-Provided you practice, you will notice progress, and I will do my best to guide you to your musical goals.

I can do lessons at your home, or mine, or at Dallas/Music, wherever is most convenient for you.  The school charges tuition differently, so you will need to check their rates.  If you decide to go through the school, just tell them you want to study with me, and they will set you up for lessons.

I invite you to read my teaching philosophy and résumé.

Here is more information about me.  If you are looking for high-quality, professional music lessons in piano or music theory, for yourself or your child, please contact me.

I look forward to hearing from you!
